Wild Roots

This is where I write honestly about life — raising a curious, spirited toddler with Montessori values, attachment parenting, and a whole lot of grace. I’m a holistic nurse and trainer, so you’ll also find what I know about nourishing mommas and littles from the inside out — real food, real minerals, real recovery — woven through the mess of everyday motherhood. No perfection here. Just trusting your instincts, finding the rhythm of your season, and living real, rooted lives.

How I Train Postpartum — and Why I Do It Differently

Breath, pelvic floor, and mindset first, strength second, and always with intention. Here is my view on postpartum training & how I approach it.

A Voice-to-Text Blog

Welcome to Wild Roots

This blog is exactly what it sounds like: me, talking into my phone while I'm driving to the gym, folding laundry, or watching my daughter dig in the dirt.

I am a holistic nurse, a personal trainer, a yoga teacher, and a mama raising a wildly curious, emotionally alive little human in the middle of modern society. Honestly? Most days I am figuring it out in real time just like you are.

Wild Roots is where I narrate that life. Unfiltered, unscripted, and minimally edited — because I do not have time to sit down and write a perfectly polished blog post, and you do not need that from me. What you need is the real version: what I actually did when my toddler melted down at the farmer's market, what I am learning about mineral deficiencies, or why I let my daughter climb things that make other people nervous.

This is a space for mothers who are done pretending that modern parenting feels natural. We were not designed to raise children in isolation, on screens, disconnected from our instincts. So I'm bringing together everything I know — my nursing background, movement science, attachment theory, what's actually on our plates and why, and a whole lot of intuition — and I'm just going to talk about it. Openly. On the move.

Welcome to Wild Roots. Pull up a seat — or just keep scrolling while your baby naps.
